A must-try dish is the “Macedonian Pinjur & Feta”. Macedonia has a rich climate for vegetables and herbs, and this delightful dish displays that robust Macedonian fragrance. Made using roasted red peppers, beefsteak tomatoes, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and a side of feta cheese, this starter makes for a light yet satisfying accompaniment that's perfect for lunch or dinner. Another standout dish at SIMIT is the “Mixed Grill” platter, which features a generous portion of beef doner, tender chicken Adana kebab, Macedonian kepab all grilled to perfection. The meat is seasoned with a blend of fragrant spices and served with blistered cherry tomatoes and shishito peppers, alongside a thin village herb bread. The dish accompaniments offered are a choice of fries, Turkish baldo rice, bulgur or shepherd salad. Finally, before introducing the exquisite dessert menu, a dish created for royalty, “The Sultan’s Delight”. Derived from the Ottoman Empire and known as “Hünkar BeÄŸendi’ throughout the centuries, this savory plate speaks for itself. It is prepared with a decadent six-hour braised lamb, served over creamy eggplant puree, and well balanced with a refreshing herb salad.

Offering a fine variety of dessert selections, you may choose between velvety Turkish goat milk ice cream to sweeten the pallet, or baklava, another classic Turkish pastry made with layers of crispy filo dough, sweet honey syrup, filled and dusted with pistachios. The baklava at this restaurant is particularly delicious, with a perfectly crisp texture and a rich, buttery flavor that melts in your mouth. Likewise, the “Kunefe With Turkish Ice Cream” is also elegantly prepared.  We look forward to serving you soon!

"Simit is a hidden gem! They have a sweet outdoor seating area with some beautiful flowers but because it was earlier in the day we sat inside to hide from the sun for a little. To start we had the falafel; luckily it came served with some hummus and pita so I wasn’t so upset that we didn’t order the dip trio! For entrees we had the veggie salad with shrimp and the sultan! Both were incredibly delicious we cleaned our plates! Unfortunately we didn’t leave room for dessert but i promise to save room for next time! Definitely a must try if you love Mediterranean food!"
